Thousands of students set to join Kenya’s largest medical training institution
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is set to admit thousands of new students this March, marking the start of a new academic cycle aimed at strengthening Kenya’s healthcare workforce.

The intake will see learners join a system focused on discipline, competence, and service, as KMTC continues to play a central role in producing skilled health professionals to meet growing local and global demand.

With 92 campuses and five satellite campuses across the country, KMTC remains one of the largest medical training institutions in the region. The college provides students with access to modern skills laboratories, experienced trainers, and hands-on clinical training in real healthcare settings.

“At KMTC, we are shaping the future of healthcare by equipping our graduates with the skills, values, and professionalism needed to serve with excellence both locally and globally,” said CEO Kelly Oluoch.

On reporting day, incoming students will undergo a structured process beginning with document verification, followed by fee payment and registration. The institution has assured applicants that staff will be available across all campuses to guide and support the transition into training.

KMTC has also urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant, warning of scammers who may exploit the admission period. The institution emphasized that all admissions and official procedures are conducted strictly through authorized channels, with no individual able to influence placement in exchange for money.

The March intake is expected to strengthen the institution’s contribution to healthcare training while also opening up opportunities for collaboration with partners in education, research, and service delivery.

KMTC says the intake is not only an academic milestone but also the beginning of a journey that will produce ethical, job-ready healthcare professionals capable of responding to evolving health needs in Kenya and beyond.

For updates, the college directs applicants and the public to its official social media platforms, including Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
