On 23rd of March , AthiCrest Teacher Training College marked a significant milestone: its 23rd Graduation Ceremony. The event, which saw 91 students transition from trainees to professionals, served as a powerful testament to the institution's enduring legacy in the education sector.
The day’s festivities began with a vibrant procession that captured the attention of Kitengela residents. Starting from the college’s main campus, located strategically opposite Pizza Inn in Kitengela, the graduands marched with poise and excitement toward the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) College, where the formal ceremony was held.

Leading the procession were the pillars of the institution:
Ms. Jacqueline Ann Ngolovoi, the Institution Director, Ms. Winfred Mwikali, the Chief Principal. & Mr. Hastings Komba, the Head of Business.

Their presence at the helm of the march symbolized the hands-on mentorship that has come to define the AthiCrest experience over the last two decades.
"From Six to Ninety-One": A Lesson in Resilience

The highlight of the ceremony was a moving keynote address by the Director, Ms. Jacqueline Ann Ngolovoi. Reflecting on the college’s 23-year journey, she shared a story of humble beginnings that resonated deeply with the audience.

"We began this institution with only six students," Ms. Ngolovoi revealed. "Today, seeing 91 of you graduate is a reminder that no dream is too small if you have the heart to pursue it."

She urged the graduating class to embrace resilience as their North Star. In an evolving job market, she emphasized that the ability to bounce back from challenges and remain steadfast in one’s goals is what separates successful educators from the rest.

The graduation of 91 students comes at a critical time when the demand for qualified, ethically grounded teachers is at an all-time high in Kenya. AthiCrest has carved out a niche for itself by blending traditional pedagogy with modern business acumen, a department led by Mr. Hastings Komba.
As the tassels were turned and certificates awarded, the message was clear: AthiCrest isn't just an institution that has lasted 23 years; it is a community that has grown 23 years stronger. For the Class of 2026, the journey that started opposite Pizza Inn has now opened doors to classrooms across the nation.
