Madina Okot's South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team has secured a share of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) regular-season title for the fifth consecutive year. The No. 3 Gamecocks (27-2, 13-1 SEC) dominated No. 17 Ole Miss 85-48 on February 22, 2026, at Colonial Life Arena.

Okot, a senior center, contributed 17 points and 10 rebounds, earning her 18th double-double of the season. Joyce Edwards led the team with 21 points, while Ta'Niya Latson added 13 points. The Gamecocks' defense was stellar, holding Ole Miss to just 48 points and limiting star player Cotie McMahon to two points on 0-of-9 shooting.

This title marks South Carolina's 10th SEC regular-season championship under coach Dawn Staley. The Gamecocks can clinch the title outright with wins against Missouri and Kentucky. Staley praised her team's performance, saying, "Winning five SEC regular-season championships consecutively is unheard of... It's a credit to our players for believing in it.
