The Harambee Starlets, Kenya's national women's football team, will embark on a shortened training camp in France as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. Initially, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) had proposed a month-long training program in France, but the plan was scaled back due to budget constraints.

The team will spend just over a week in France, fine-tuning their tactics and building team cohesion before heading to Morocco for the continental showpiece. The FKF has confirmed logistical arrangements for the camp, including accommodation, training facilities, and friendly matches.

The Starlets will first travel to Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for two international friendlies against Benin and Ivory Coast on March 2 and 4, respectively. They will then proceed to France for their training camp, which will run until March 15, before flying out to Morocco for WAFCON.

Harambee Starlets coach Beldine Odemba emphasized the importance of the overseas camp, stating that it will help the team adapt to the intensity and style of play they will face in Morocco. The team is drawn in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Algeria, and Senegal.
