FRED MATIANG'I ENDORSED AS ABAGUSII SPOKESPERSON AMIDST 2027 PRESIDENTIAL AMBITIONS.

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has been endorsed as the Abagusii Spokesperson by nine MPs from the region. This endorsement is seen as a strategic move to bolster his influence in the Gusii region, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Matiang'i, who has been touted as a potential presidential candidate, has been actively engaging with the community, emphasizing unity and collective efforts towards national liberation.

The endorsement comes as Matiang'i intensifies his political footprint in Gusii, with a three-day tour scheduled from February 23 to 25, covering key towns and constituencies in Nyamira and Kisii counties.
