The three-time Olympic champion, known for her dominance in the 1500m, showcased her versatility and endurance, outpacing a competitive field to claim the top spot.

Kipyegon's impressive debut marks a new chapter in her illustrious career, with many speculating she may be eyeing longer distances. "What a beautiful morning! Grateful for my 29:47 10km debut on the roads and already looking forward to more," she shared on social media.

The 32-year-old Kenyan, coached by Patrick Sang, the same mentor behind Eliud Kipchoge, demonstrated tactical composure and strength, accelerating past the halfway mark to secure her win. Kipyegon's time places her 14th on the world all-time list for the 10km distance.
