Arsenal made a resounding statement in the Premier League title race, throttling arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyökeres led the charge, scoring two goals each to restore Arsenal's five-point lead at the top of the table.

Eze, who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, volleyed home the opener in the 32nd minute, only for Randal Kolo Muani to equalize two minutes later. However, Arsenal took control after the break, with Gyökeres restoring their lead with a sublime curler. Eze's second, a tap-in, gave Arsenal breathing space, and Gyökeres sealed the win with his second in stoppage time.

The victory marks Arsenal's biggest league win at Tottenham since 1978 and puts pressure on Manchester City, who are five points behind with a game in hand. Tottenham, meanwhile, remain 16th, just four points above the relegation zone.

Mikel Arteta's side responded to recent setbacks, including a draw at Wolves, with a dominant performance. "We showed what we are made of, but we have to show it again and again," Arteta said.
